Friends of Kirkham Henry - Studio Refurbishment - COVID-19
We are raising funds to help support Kirkham Henry overcome the impact of COVID-19. We have funded the new windows in all studios, for extra ventilation.
Friends are a newly established charity formed during the Coronavirus pandemic to raise funds to help support Kirkham Henry Performing Arts to refurbish the building and to recover from losses due to the lockdown closures .
Kirkham Henry Performing Arts is a community interest company. Not for Profit.
We want to be able to provide the best possible environment for all pupils.
Kirkham Henry provides a significant service to the community in Ryedale and beyond. We have pupils aged from 2 years old and also hold classes for adults, dancing with Parkinsons, Dementia, Mencap and the blind and partially sighted. We also provide dance and well-being classes for the older generation, such as , our Golden Gliders and Silver Swan's classes. We are an inclusive school and hold a Makaton friendly certificate.
The impact of COVID-19 has been phenomenal in many ways but we are raring to go to get back to dancing, singing and acting as soon as possible and we need your help.
