Just a few of the things that happened in a busy February!
Dance for Parkinsons
What a truly fabulous class this morning with our Dance for Parkinson’s participants. One of them commented “How blessed we all are to have each other.” As Dr. Heseltine one of the consultants highly recommends the class to his patients we are getting more members and if anyone would like to volunteer to help and come along to Wigginton any Friday morning, do let us know. Here’s some of our wonderful dancers having fun creating movement in groups.

Wishing Miss Nicky and 30 members of our youth choir who are representing KH all the very best for their performance tomorrow evening, appearing on stage with Collabro at The Grand Opera House York. Have a fantastic time everyone.
Happy Friday Everyone,
As it got so late last night with our Collabro Performance , there was little time to add any pictures or feedback comments. So here are a few of our Theatre Kids doing homework , having a great tea out at Plonkers , who I must say went above and beyond for us, Thanks to all the staff there, Hattie's birthday celebrations and of course the amazing comments that have been coming in, but I must say as staff and chaperones of Kirkham Henry we feel unbelievably proud at how the children behaved all through the afternoon and evening. They were polite, happy, caring and very professional, everything that Kirkham Henry stands for. These children and young people certainly proved that our ethos at KH is still as strong as ever, and preparing our future performers in a safe enjoyable happy atmosphere is what its all about.
Striving to be experts!
KH teachers always striving to be an expert in their subject and age groups and keeping up with the latest ideas and training. Nurturing our pupils from hobby to professional standard. Miss Angela was at Royal Academy of Dance London on the Advanced Teachers course on Friday. Miss Nicky was at Royal Northern College of Music today fresh from her success of our youth choir representatives singing with Collabro at The Grand Opera House York.
