Fantastic news from Olivia Roberts who is in her final year of Northern Ballet School

"Hi Olivia here to let you know that I have accepted a contract with Royal Caribbean International to join their vessel Navigatior of the seas, on the 12th August.

I fly out to start my rehearsals for the 15th June wich are in Miami for 6 weeks. Just waiting on my visas, very excited x"

Great night so far here at The Grand Opera House York with The Barricade Boys.

What a fabulous opportunity for part of our Youth Choir to sing with former pupils Scott Garnham and Lauren Hood.

Lovely update here from Sophie Roger-

“Hi everyone it’s Sophie here, just sending you a quick update. As I near the end of my final year at the RAD studying for a BA (Hons) Ballet Education and to gain my registered teacher status, I am busy away typing my 12,000 dissertation.

I am currently teaching and assisting at various dance schools across London. Last term the Grade 2’s and Grade 5’s that I taught passed their RAD ballet exams with Distinctions and a couple Merits which I am thrilled with as a student teacher. Not only have I taught RAD ballet but also jazz, body conditioning, acro-jazz, contemporary, tap and modern. I aim to keep living in London and build up freelance teaching work, maybe one day even teaching abroad.

I came and watched RYT Little Shop of Horrors at Easter which was brill!

I would like to congratulate and wish Tilly luck as she starts RAD in September.

I hope all is well at the centre, keep working hard and appreciate every moment at KH! Lots of love xxx"
