Remembrance Sunday-
Today at 11am our MNMT panto dancers stopped rehearsal to honour the 2 minutes silence.
Our juniors, inters and Seniors watched the TV as Big Ben struck 11, thanks to Miss Joanne and Miss Rebecca for honouring the KH tradition of respecting this Sunday. So children and young people understand the sacrifice our Armed Forces and beyond made for them.
“ For your tomorrow, we give our today”
We also managed to fit in a birthday celebration for Meg and even our dancers stuck at home due to various covid situations, joined in not only rehearsals but remembrance and birthday celebrations on line.

Have a good day. Miss Angela

Huge congratulations to former pupil Eilish Coady for passing her RAD teaching exam. (Certificate in ballet teaching studies)
Miss Angela helped a tiny bit during lockdown going through some vocational exam work and Eilish got in touch to thank her.
Miss A was quick to reply stating it was all Eilish’s hard work and dedication that has got her the qualifications she deserves.
Eilish is teaching at Wexford school of Ballet in Ireland.
Well done Eilish we’re very proud of your wonderful achievement, you join the growing number of KH students who are now qualified RAD teachers.

We are delighted to announce Sophie Collier has been offered the role of 'Young Dancer' in The Birmingham Stage Company Olivier -award nominated production of David Walliams' 'Gangsta Granny' Grand Opera House, York from 3rd - 6th Feb. 2022.
Congratulations Sophie from everyone at KH.
We are hoping to run a trip to watch the production, so look out for further information.
Neal Foster, the show’s Director, said:
“This is a really good opportunity for a young dancer just starting in the profession to get a great addition to her CV as well as gain valuable on stage experience acting with a professional company. We envisage full houses, so the girl chosen will have a week to remember, dancing a solo in front of huge enthusiastic audiences. Whoever is selected will find it a wonderful and unforgettable experience!”
